Toni Adams
Office Manager & Care Coordination Specialist
With over 16 years of experience in office administration and a passion for serving those in need, I have dedicated my career to the healthcare industry, where I’ve honed my skills in Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Scheduling, and Care Coordination. Currently, as the Office Manager for Griswold Home Care, I have the privilege of overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of care services, and supporting our team in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our clients.
I’ve been with Griswold Home Care for five years, initially starting as a Billing and Payroll Coordinator before transitioning into my current role as Office Manager. My experience has given me a deep understanding of the intricacies of healthcare administration, and I’m passionate about ensuring that those who require assistance receive the best possible care.
Coming from a long line of healthcare professionals, I’ve always felt called to help those who cannot care for themselves. Whether coordinating the right caregivers, managing schedules, or overseeing billing and payroll, my goal is to ensure that our clients receive the support they need to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Owner
I was as close to my grandparents as I could be. I probably spent more time at their house than my own. When I went away to college in another state, it marked the first time I'd gone more than a couple of days without seeing them. After returning home for a visit, I noticed that their house wasn’t as clean as usual. They seemed tired, and things were generally off, but they insisted they were ok. I returned to college. On my next return trip, 6 months later, I returned to find the house in disarray. Both of them had problems remembering where I went to school and they appeared not to be regularly showering. This was so upsetting to me that I transferred universities to live right next door to them. I then, unknowingly at the time, became their full-time caregiver. 27 years ago, we didn’t know agencies existed that helped with this type of thing, so I spent my days going to school and my afternoons and nights taking care of them. It was an honor to help them, but I also felt firsthand the toll it can take caring for a loved one, or in this case, 2 loved ones. I've always had an affinity for the older generations, and my wife and I feel blessed to continue our mission to help them in any way we can.
I'm thrilled to be back in a position to serve my community by assisting families and their loved ones as we all navigate the aging process!

In Your Community
We’re in This Together
Our team is dedicated to improving the well-being of our community through serving those who need assistance to live where they love. We are active in the neighborhood, so you’ll see us around town at events, participating in associations and meetings, and supporting local organizations inside and outside the care industry. We firmly believe in our ability to create a happier and healthier place to live through the connections we make with the people in our community.
Jean’s Story
In 1982, Dr. Jean Griswold founded our company at her dining room table in a small suburb of Philadelphia. She found out that an elderly woman in her community had died of complications because she had no support system for care. Jean felt this was an easily preventable tragedy and was driven to find a solution by pairing Caregivers with those who could not thrive in their homes alone. She was a true visionary, establishing one of the first and most successful non-medical home care organizations in the country, despite being wheelchair-bound due to Multiple Sclerosis. Over 40 years later, her legacy lives on nationwide.
Scholarship
Where would we be without Caregivers? Their selflessness is astounding, yet they are often overlooked and underappreciated. The Jean Griswold Foundation is dedicated to supporting Caregivers, the backbone of the care industry. We provide educational scholarships so Care Professionals can further their training, enhance their skills, elevate their careers, and better assist the people they serve.
