Hello, I am Ted Dzvileski, owner and operator of your local Griswold Home Care office of Somerset County, NJ. I joined the Griswold Home Care franchise family in 2002 because I saw an increased need for private care services both nationwide and in my community. As our nation’s elderly population continues to grow, and families are busier than ever, more people are in need of extra support as they age.
I explored several business opportunities before deciding to open my Griswold Home Care office in Hillsborough. It was the Griswold family’s sincere mission to provide simple, affordable, high quality care that drew me in. I fondly remember leaving my meeting with the Griswold family, wondering, will this esteemed company award me a franchise– not the other way around.
I grew my business to function in the same high caliber fashion that I first observed and admired in Griswold Home Care. I work hard to support my community as both a home care provider and an expert in the elder care industry. I am active in my church and serve as a knowledgeable resource to various church volunteer programs and township social service programs.
When I was in College my Father had a stroke. The continued care that he required, combined with my experience caring for other aging relatives, has made me truly empathetic toward many clients’ needs and frustrations and their family’s resulting stress levels.
I could not be happier with my decision to join the home care industry. By making an affordable, quality home care service available to my community, I am able to improve the quality of life for so many senior citizens. What’s ever more rewarding is speaking to satisfied family members who are both pleased with Mom or Dad’s care and relieved by their peace of mind, which our care services have restored.

Jean’s Story
In 1982, Dr. Jean Griswold founded our company at her dining room table in a small suburb of Philadelphia. She found out that an elderly woman in her community had died of complications because she had no support system for care. Jean felt this was an easily preventable tragedy and was driven to find a solution by pairing Caregivers with those who could not thrive in their homes alone. She was a true visionary, establishing one of the first and most successful non-medical home care organizations in the country, despite being wheelchair-bound due to Multiple Sclerosis. Over 40 years later, her legacy lives on nationwide.

Where would we be without Caregivers? Their selflessness is astounding, yet they are often overlooked and underappreciated. The Jean Griswold Foundation is dedicated to supporting Caregivers, the backbone of the care industry. We provide educational scholarships so Care Professionals can further their training, enhance their skills, elevate their careers, and better assist the people they serve.
