Mark Moore
Owner
Mark Moore is a North Carolina native from “Little Washington” and has resided in Raleigh for over 30 years. Mark and his wife, Michelle, have been married for 23 years and have two wonderful children, Weston and Brynn, and one wonderful family canine, Rudy. Mark is very active at Trinity Baptist Church where he has served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and high school basketball coach. Part of his deacon duties involved spending time with seniors, where he witnessed the need for assistance and interaction for seniors at home. He learned how each one of them has a great story and lots of wisdom to share. “I learn something each day from our clients; life is short, struggles come and go, and we all deserve and yearn for dignity and love. I’m very grateful to be at Griswold Home Care, touching lives and being positively affected every day.”
Mark and Michelle are the owners of Griswold Home Care, and Mark also serves as the Executive Director. Mark makes it a priority to meet with all families they serve at the start of care. He believes that establishing a relationship with all families is a key component of providing exceptional care and service.
Michelle Moore
Owner
Michelle Moore was born in Sanford, North Carolina and is a proud Meredith Angel. Michelle has lived in Raleigh for over 30 years and is the engaged mother of Brynn and Weston, who are both in college. Michelle has always been involved in health and fitness and continues to encourage herself and those around her to be all they can be. Having lost her father in her teen years and her mother 15 years ago, she knows the struggles that come with caring for a loved one. She actively listens to families to help resolve their needs and bring them the peace of mind she wanted when caring for her mom. When Michelle isn’t helping families with care, she can be found leading fitness classes, nurturing the friendships she’s been blessed with, or spending time with her husband and children.
Michelle serves as the Care Manager at Griswold Home Care. She spends a great deal of her time on the phone with family members listening to the challenges, needs, and requests so we can best meet the expectations of those in need.

Learn MoreJean’s Story
In 1982, Dr. Jean Griswold founded our company at her dining room table in a small suburb of Philadelphia. She found out that an elderly woman in her community had died of complications because she had no support system for care. Jean felt this was an easily preventable tragedy and was driven to find a solution by pairing Caregivers with those who could not thrive in their homes alone. She was a true visionary, establishing one of the first and most successful non-medical home care organizations in the country, despite being wheelchair-bound due to Multiple Sclerosis. Over 40 years later, her legacy lives on nationwide.
Scholarship
Where would we be without Caregivers? Their selflessness is astounding, yet they are often overlooked and underappreciated. The Jean Griswold Foundation is dedicated to supporting Caregivers, the backbone of the care industry. We provide educational scholarships so Care Professionals can further their training, enhance their skills, elevate their careers, and better assist the people they serve.
