Hello, I’m Bob Bonville, owner and operator of your local Griswold Home Care Referral Service in Pinehurst, North Carolina. I grew up in a military family and lived all across the country before settling down in Pinehurst, NC. My father, George, was a Colonel in the Army. Much of my father’s life and my own have revolved around the military and the service industry that supports it. My wife, Crystal, is a school teacher; together we have three sons.
Like my father, I also served in the Army. I went on to work for Home Depot before joining the family-owned construction business. I next worked as a Project Manager/Community Builder for another property management company that is primarily utilized by the United States Army. There, I was responsible for rehabbing all of the homes on Fort Bragg.
I was ready for a change and looked into multiple business opportunities. I was drawn to the non-medical home care industry because I sought a long-term opportunity that would allow me to continue my family’s tradition of doing something that helps people live better lives. I decided to join the Griswold Home Care franchise family so that I could support my own family while also providing a valuable referral service to my neighbors in need. I am proud to continuously give back to my community in a meaningful way.
At Griswold Home Care Referral Service, we fully comprehend that your decision to bring someone into your home to provide services is not easy. We refer only the most trusted and committed caregivers who can meet your non-medical home care needs in our four county territory of Moore, Lee, Harnett, and Hoke.
We’re in This Together
Our team is dedicated to improving the well-being of our community through serving those who need assistance to live where they love. We are active in the neighborhood, so you’ll see us around town at events, participating in associations and meetings, and supporting local organizations inside and outside the care industry. We firmly believe in our ability to create a happier and healthier place to live through the connections we make with the people in our community.
Jean’s Story
In 1982, Dr. Jean Griswold founded our company at her dining room table in a small suburb of Philadelphia. She found out that an elderly woman in her community had died of complications because she had no support system for care. Jean felt this was an easily preventable tragedy and was driven to find a solution by pairing Caregivers with those who could not thrive in their homes alone. She was a true visionary, establishing one of the first and most successful non-medical home care organizations in the country, despite being wheelchair-bound due to Multiple Sclerosis. Over 40 years later, her legacy lives on nationwide.
Scholarship
Where would we be without Caregivers? Their selflessness is astounding, yet they are often overlooked and underappreciated. The Jean Griswold Foundation is dedicated to supporting Caregivers, the backbone of the care industry. We provide educational scholarships so Care Professionals can further their training, enhance their skills, elevate their careers, and better assist the people they serve.
