Having home care support does not mean you need to stay in your home! Our office team is active in the community and familiar with popular events and spots for social outings. Our caregivers can challenge you or a loved one to a board game or a trivia contest just as easily as they can accompany them to bingo night, the movies, family events, a ball game, or a fun shopping trip.

If your loved one is active and simply needs companionship or supervision, our caregivers are happy to take a walk with them along the Susquehanna River (or sit on a bench and watch the kayaks go by!). Patron of the arts? Caregivers can accompany your loved one to a show at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts! The sky’s the limit. Our goal is to make sure your loved one has the quality of life they deserve with the support they need.

Caring Hearts Wyoming Valley – Caring Hearts was established by Griswold NEPA in 2020 during the pandemic to keep Health Care professionals connected.

Active Adult Centers Luzerne County – The goals of the Active Adult Centers are to help older adults in Luzerne-Wyoming Counties to remain healthy, active, independent, and contributing members of the community for as long as possible. Active Adult Centers represent an important entry point into the Aging network and the continuum of long-term care. Active Adult Centers are often the first support service sought by an older individual, his/her family or friends.
