Michael Slupecki joined Griswold in 2020 as its Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for leading the development, operations, and execution of Griswold’s short and long-term strategies. His career in home care began in 2004 when he joined a home healthcare, hospice, and healthcare staffing franchise as their Controller. While there, he was elevated to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, transforming the organization into a multinational franchisor of in-home medical and non-medical care managing three brands across seven countries with a combined network of over 500 franchise locations.
Before joining the home care industry, Michael’s career began with the global financial advisory firm KPMG. He later spent nine years in the recruiting and staffing industry, starting with a regional boutique recruiting company that subsequently merged with a $2 billion public company providing a full range of staffing and recruiting services nationwide. He has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Toledo and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. When Michael isn’t at the home office in Pennsylvania, he can be found enjoying time with his wife and three children in South Florida, where he resides. He spends time boating, fishing, and golfing and has completed over 80 running and multisport events.
A proven leader with over 15 years of experience in healthcare services and franchising companies, Michael’s skillset and vision are instrumental to the future growth of Griswold. Michael firmly believes that as leaders, there is little we can accomplish individually. Long-term success is accomplished by assembling a team of competent and motivated professionals who value team success above individual recognition.
Steven Turner

Steven Turner, the Chief Operating Officer of Griswold, focuses primarily on helping new and existing owners achieve the success they desire in their individual markets. Steven brings 17+ years of experience to Griswold with an extensive background in supporting entrepreneurs in the medical and non-medical home care franchise space. Steven started in the franchise world with a small brand, where he touched on franchise development, training, onboarding, and supporting existing operations. After seven years, he moved to one of the United States’ largest home care franchise companies and added over 70 new owners, supporting them during their initial start-up and growth.
His direct approach to ensuring a new owner's success includes in-person office openings and site visits to help owners grow their businesses and meet their goals. Steven believes in the power of franchising ownership - current franchise owners at Griswold embody this passion for growing their businesses and serving their communities. When he isn’t at the corporate office in Pennsylvania, Steven spends his time at home in Hollywood, Florida, biking, reading, and traveling with his wife, Jennifer, as well as visiting their two grown children.

Katherine Schiavino, our Chief Financial Officer, is a seasoned finance leader who joined Griswold in 2021. She brings a wealth of experience cultivated over 25 years in various industries, including consumer products, manufacturing, telecommunications, distribution, and specialty pharmacy.
Katherine has consistently demonstrated her financial expertise throughout her career, strengthening and guiding organizations across diverse sectors. Her knowledge has been a driving force behind successful collaborations with business leaders, aligning financial strategies with overarching business objectives resulting in tangible and strategic growth for the companies she has served.
Most recently, Katherine was VP of Finance/Interim CFO at BioMatrix, a national specialty pharmacy based in Plantation, FL. Before this role, she occupied executive finance leadership positions with renowned companies such as Lenox Corp., US Foods, and Comcast, contributing significantly to their success.
A proud New Jersey native, Katherine earned her BS in Accounting from Rutgers University. Outside the office, Katherine relaxes in her South Florida home with her husband. They like trying new cuisines, exploring new travel destinations, and relishing time spent with their three grown children.
Shelley Kanther

Shelley Kanther is a knowledgeable veteran providing strategic marketing leadership to the small business community. Her strengths lie in implementing scalable programs and platforms to simplify marketing for busy franchise owners while focusing on enterprise-level brand awareness.
Shelley joined Griswold in November 2020 after spending ten years in the appliance industry, most recently as Marketing & Digital Strategy Director for The New England Group, a cooperative buying organization with over 100 local independent retail members. Before that, Shelley was the Northeast Regional Marketing Manager for Electrolux & Frigidaire Major Appliances. In both roles, Shelley set corporate digital strategy while creating effective marketing plans for small to mid-size local businesses.
Having been a partner at Hoopla Marketing & PR and a marketing director for both Comcast and CBS Radio, she brings over 25 years and a wide variety of applicable experience to Griswold. A proud Penn State graduate, Shelley loves skiing in the Alps and western U.S., exploring new travel destinations, writing, reading, and spending time with her son.

Tim Swan joined the Griswold team in 2021 as Director of Information Technology. He has over 20 years of technology leadership experience in the insurance, pharmaceutical, higher education, and international standards publishing industries. Throughout his expansive career, Tim led IT transformations that supported business growth strategies and improved customer experience by improving the quality and efficiency of services through continued thought leadership and strategic planning.
A Midwest native, Tim moved east for school, earning a Master of Science from the School of Information Studies, Syracuse University. Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters in suburban Philadelphia.
Matthew Ericksen

Matt Ericksen is a seasoned professional in the home healthcare industry, serving as the Director of Sales & Operations at Griswold since October 2020. His role includes managing talent acquisition and operations and driving franchisee growth. With over 14 years in customer service, sales, and operations, Matt has been instrumental in directing the development and aggressive growth of home health and home care businesses throughout the Northeast.
Before joining Griswold, Matt led a new Brightstar Care franchise to national recognition through a strong focus on unit profitability, client satisfaction, and community engagement. As Director of Operations, he led their start-up growth and created new service lines, significantly enhancing the franchise's market presence and revenue growth. Matt is a family man outside of his professional endeavors, spending time with his wife and daughters. His personal interests include home renovations, camping, and motorsports.
Amanda Lepore

Amanda Lepore joined Griswold in 2015 and has worked with our franchisees in multiple capacities over her tenure with the company. Before joining the team, she managed operations, training, customer service, and sales for various retail chains and an investment firm. Amanda uses 20+ years of experience leveraging education and training to achieve sales goals, improve operations, and build effective teams.
Instilled inside her at a very young age by her grandfather, Amanda brings a lifelong love of learning and the belief that education is the key to achieving dreams. She enjoys personal and professional development, especially her own: she is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), recently completed her bachelor’s degree and started her own journey as a full-time graduate student. In her spare time, she volunteers with a local dog rescue organization as a foster to help abandoned dogs find a better life. She loves spending time with friends, family, and her own rescue pup, Stella.

Cathy Reilly plays a crucial role at Griswold, ensuring the company conducts its business in full compliance with all national laws while advising the franchise network on state regulations. Cathy’s team creates, reviews, and implements policies and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices within the industry. They support franchise owners in securing and renewing any state-required licensure, provide the needed client and caregiver forms, and stay current on federal and state regulation changes.
Cathy joined Griswold in May 2018 and brings over 15 years of Human Resources/Compliance experience to Griswold. An avid Phillies fan, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children doing anything outdoors.
Caitlin Griffith

Caitlin Griffith joined Griswold in November 2023 as the Director of People & Culture. Prior to Griswold, Caitlin supported various Healthcare organizations for over ten years as a Human Resources Director, Manager, and Senior HR Business Partner. She was responsible for all facets of Human Resources operations, including training and development, benefits administration, employee relations, compensation and payroll, performance management, recruiting and retention, diversity, and inclusion, and more.
Caitlin has an extensive background in Human Resources, holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Caitlin brings a passion for helping people with their professional growth and a deep understanding of HR dynamics to the Griswold community. Her goal is to foster a collaborative work environment and support the overall success of Griswold and its employees. Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family. She loves traveling as well as reading and cooking.
