My name is Juan Crespin. I am the co-owner and administrator for Griswold Home Care for Laguna Hills. Caring for and serving others has always been a calling for me. I lost both of my parents, Both my sisters and I cared for them up until they passed, so I know firsthand what it is like to care for those that you love and need care.
As a business owner, I want my clients to receive the best quality of care while remaining safe and independent in their home. Building trust and rapport with client's family is also important to me to know they have someone that they can call on for support and guidance, or when are having a tough time with the transition. This is what drives me to do what I do every single day. I am extremely honored to pursue this passion by helping people in my community.
As a leader in the industry and having various roles such as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Memory Care Director, and an Administrator, my focus has always been on quality of care and caring for those with a holistic client centered approach. Some of the settings I have worked in are skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care and geriatric behavioral health facilities.
My credentials include holding a RCFE (Residential Care for The Elderly) administrators license in California and being a CNA for more than 20 years. I also have obtained my bachelors in long term care and my master’s degree in healthcare administration with the emphasis of gerontology.
In my spare time I like being with family and friends. I also enjoy watching movies, dancing, sightseeing, going to the beach, traveling, dining out, playing with our English bulldog, antiquing, and going to flea markets.

Our team is dedicated to improving the well-being of our community through serving those who need assistance to live where they love. We are active in the neighborhood, so you’ll see us around town at events, participating in associations and meetings, and supporting local organizations inside and outside the care industry. We firmly believe in our ability to create a happier and healthier place to live through the connections we make with the people in our community.
Jean’s Story
In 1982, Dr. Jean Griswold founded our company at her dining room table in a small suburb of Philadelphia. She found out that an elderly woman in her community had died of complications because she had no support system for care. Jean felt this was an easily preventable tragedy and was driven to find a solution by pairing Caregivers with those who could not thrive in their homes alone. She was a true visionary, establishing one of the first and most successful non-medical home care organizations in the country, despite being wheelchair-bound due to Multiple Sclerosis. Over 40 years later, her legacy lives on nationwide.

Where would we be without Caregivers? Their selflessness is astounding, yet they are often overlooked and underappreciated. The Jean Griswold Foundation is dedicated to supporting Caregivers, the backbone of the care industry. We provide educational scholarships so Care Professionals can further their training, enhance their skills, elevate their careers, and better assist the people they serve.
