Annual Food Bank March 

Griswold Home Care for Western Massachusetts is taking part in the 15^th annual March for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. 

The Food Bank has support from many citizens of Westen Massachusetts donating healthy food, volunteers in the warehouse and local farms, along with monetary donations as well.

Monte Belmonte is a man who helped push an empty shopping cart 20 miles to raise money for the food bank 15 years ago. 

Now, they have been partners providing the Food Bank meals to the community, about 1.5 million meals to help families with food insecurity. 

The money raised helps impacts our community, “every dollar raised provides the equivalent of 3 nutritious meals to people in the region facing food insecurity and hunger”. 

We have donated $2,500 to the walk and Food Bank. 

Every donation counts; we are hoping to match our donation with the help of our community members, friends, and family.
